The U.S. Democratic race is turning out to be quite a roller coaster ride. I can see myself getting really, really tired of all of this drama by the end of February. I already feel like screaming every time I hear the work “change.” It makes me cringe to even type it. Oh well, I’m an independent in a state with a closed primary so I have no vote. All I can do is sit back and see who’s on the ballot in November.
Yes, I agree, what a circus! It will be a very interesting year here in the Land of the Free.. I really appreciate The Onion at a time like this.
This is a nicely done sketch!

Pish, forget no vote. I’m an independent, but I’ll register for either party in a second if I want to vote for somebody or against somebody.
It’s not like you have to take some blood oath of a legence to register with a party. Then I’ll unregister for the party after the primary or whatever. Doesn’t really matter. All that really matters is that I don’t I buy that either one of these corperate parties is great. Just trying to keep both of them at bay, and get them to cancel each other out as much as possible.

Yobachi, You’re right. I am just fence sitting waiting for someone else to narrow things down for me. Bad girl, um woman.
Our primary is in May, and since I know I’ll be voting Dem this year, I’m thinking about registering with them so I can vote. But the choice is tough. All three candidates seem like the same man wearing different masks.

Wonderful sketches! You really captured something beyond a likeness in both of them. WIth Hillary — a combination of dignity, irritation and maybe sadness. Barack looks genial and kind (or am I projecting?).

When I was drawing, I was just trying out a different style. I didn’t have any intention but to try to get a likeness and not lose it when I inked the drawing. But I suppose my general impression of the two manages to show through. Thanks Jana!
