This is my entry for Everyday Matters challenge 16. It’s my Leatherman tool and it’s got needlenose pliers, a straight knife, scissors, three screwdrivers, a phillips screwdriver, a bottle opener and a corkscrew. When it’s folded up it’s around 3 inches (8cm) but it weighs a ton. I think my husband and I got this as a stocking stuffer or a Christmas gift. I have personally never used it for anything practical, but it is fun to play with.

I found your blog surfing WordPress and have been enjoying your site. I am an admirer of Danny and now an admirer of your art. You have a lot of talent, and I’m glad you’ve moved into public drawing. I have been an artist most of my life, but due to ‘events of life’ last fall have had to change my art addiction to photography. I am a firm believer in setting a goal and working in that direction and Danny’s challenges are certainly that.

wonderful choice of the everyday. i truly enjoy your art as you make static objects come to life. i can feel the movement of the knife and your love for your knife is most obvious. bravo.

I have to agree. Leatherman is the way to go. I bought one from this website (ExpressBuy123) and it has lasted me through some tough spots. As a electrician, there are plenty of moments when I need particular tools, but with my Leatherman, I don’t have to reach in my tool box as often and I can focus on my work.
