French Toast Girl does this every year and I remember a lot of Everyday Matters folks doing it last year. The idea is that you do your art every single day for the month of May. It doesn’t have to be great. The thing is to do it. She even has an Every Day In May Flickr page set up so that you can share your work with others.
I saw this on Karen Blados’ sketchblog and decided that this was my year to commit to this. I really need something to get myself drawing again. I’ve been doing so many artist trading cards that I’ve let my drawing practice slide.
So I’ll be drawing away, and while I may not post everyday, I’ll definitely scan each drawing I make and put them here. I hope to have fun with this.
